    Rumble Ponies release 2018 schedule

    With their inaugural season in the books, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies are proud to unveil their schedule for the 2018 season. The Rumble Ponies are set to kick off their second season at NYSEG Stadium with their home opener on April 5, 2018 against Portland. There will be eleven weekends of pro baseball in the Southern Tier, including eight from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The team will be home for three major summer holidays including Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day

    Rumble Ponies face elimination after being no-hit in Game Three loss

    The Binghamton Rumble Ponies were no-hit by Justus Sheffield and Taylor Widener and fell to the Trenton Thunder, 2-0, in Game 3 of the Eastern Division Championship Series on Friday night at ARM & HAMMER Park. Sheffield fired four spotless innings before Widener struck out seven in five no-hit innings to send Trenton to a 2-1 series lead. Mickey Jannis pitches Game Four Saturday.

    The Rumble Ponies head to Trenton tied 1-1 in the Best-of-Five Eastern Division Championship Series with the Trenton Thunder as the series shifts to Trenton for the weekend.  After a 9-6 Game Two loss, the Ponies need two wins on the road, but still like their chances considering the five run rally they posted in the middle innings of that Game Two loss.

Backed by a pair of two-run doubles from Peter Alonso and Matt Oberste, three Ponies pitchers combined to rack up a dozen strikeouts, sending Binghamton to a 1-0 lead in the best-of-five series.

    The Binghamton Rumble Ponies closed their 85-win regular season with their eighth consecutive victory, a 9-3 triumph over the Hartford Yard Goats on Monday afternoon at NYSEG Stadium. Kevin Taylor drove in four runs with a three-hit game and five Binghamton relievers combined to toss seven scoreless innings. Binghamton broke a tie game with a rally in the fifth.
