The Ponies would end their series in Erie with their sixth loss of the season in a 5-3 final at UPMC Park on Sunday.

Erie would open the scoring early tallying back to back home runs for the Sea Wolves to go up 2-0 after one. The Sea Wolves would add on to that early lead again in the third inning with one run to go up by three runs.

Binghamton would respond quickly in the fourth inning as JT Schwartz would blast his first home run of the season to make it a 3-1 game. Schwartz and Jeremiah Jackson would both add RBI singles in the top of the fifth to even the contest at 3-3.

In the bottom of the fifth Erie would get what would be the game winning run with an RBI triple by Brady Allen to go up 4-3, Allen also adding a home run in the eighth inning to cap off the win.

Justin Jarvis would be handed the loss in the contest today even though Binghamton would go through four different pitchers in the game. Jarvis would allow one run, one hit, through 2.2 innings pitched and dealing four strikeouts.

Binghamton now will head home to prepare for a series with the Reading FIghtin Phils that begins on Tuesday at Mirabito Stadium
