    Devils fall short to Pens and drop 6th straight

    The Binghamton Devils came up just short, 4-3, to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in front of an electric sellout crowd of 4,897 at Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday night. The sellout crowd was the third of the season for Binghamton. Ryan Haggerty put the Penguins on the board just 12 seconds into the game. Right off the opening faceoff, Haggerty moved down the right wing side and snapped in his seventh goal of the year.

    Nick Lappin continued his point streak and Viktor Loov had a two-point night but the Binghamton Devils fell to the host Belleville Senators, 4-3, on Wednesday night in front of 2,846 fans at Yardmen Arena. Jim O’Brien put the Senators on the board at 14:49 of the opening period.

    Devils pick up road win in Utica

    Blake Pietila scored late and Ken Appleby earned first-star honors in net as the Binghamton Devils defeated the Utica Comets, 2-1, on Friday night inside Adirondack Bank Center. Late in the opening period, Nathan Bastian put the Devils up 1-0 with his third goal of the year. Austin Cangelosi played the puck off the right wall down the ice and Bastian went right around the defenseman to pick up the puck at the bottom of the right wing circle.
