Golfers from all over are gearing up to compete for the title at the 95th Triple Cities Golf Association Amateur Championship, sponsored by Harding Brooks Insurance Agency.

The tournament will take place from July 5-July 7, with round one starting on Friday at the Conklin Players Club, round two taking place at the Links at Hiawatha Landing in Apalachin on Saturday, and the tournament will conclude at the Binghamton Country Club on Sunday.

This year, 64 competitors will compete in the open division, seeing some returning champs including Kyle Nedlik, Keith Chesk, and last year's champ and St. Bonaventure rising junior, Michael Bucko.

"The winner gets to hold the amateur championship trophy for the entire year, If they're from New York State, they also get an exemption to the New York State Amateur Championship, which is being held the week after as well just the prestige that goes along with that as well," said Triple Cities Golf Association President Kyle Nedlik.

An additional 14 competitors will compete in the senior division of the event, which now features a 54-hole championship.

Both divisions will feature live scoring throughout the duration of the event, allowing remote viewers and spectators to follow the leaderboards in real time.
