Cup O' Jo Cafe officially opens today, joining Endicott's little Italy central business district.

The cafe is located at 114 Odell Ave, moving from its former location in the Oakdale mall.

Cup O' Jo Cafe hosts a menu of breakfast sandwiches, pastries, coffee, gourmet melts, frozen drinks, and other lunch and dinner items.

The cafe is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. and on Sundays from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

The cafe's name is a tribute to the owner's late sister, who loved coffee.

"So it's Cup O' Jo Cafe, this cups for you, meaning for her and for you. That's my original version of it. And that's what it means to me, she loved coffee, so I decided to name the coffee shop after her. She passed away before she knew I had the coffee shop. So she was a little bit younger than I was. And it was just a freak accident that happened. So it was it was tough. But I'll get through it knowing that, you know, she's down there watching us and we have this for so," said Naomi Bernheim, Owner of Cup O' Jo Cafe.

Broome County Executive Jason Garnar declared July 1 as Cup O' Jo Cafe Day.
