A Binghamton man has been found guilty on several drug-related charges.

According to the Broome County District Attorney, Kareem R. Young was found guilty as a second felony offender on the charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree.

The D.A. says in January, the county Special Investigations Unit executed a narcotics search warrant at 25 North Street in the City of Binghamton. Young was found in possession of approximately one ounce of cocaine and implements of narcotics trafficking.

Young is scheduled to be sentenced in September. He faces up to 15 years in state prison.
