The Broome County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday that two people were hospitalized following an accident on State Route 369 in the Town of Fenton on Saturday.

According to the Sheriff's office, at approximately 5:52 P.M. a driver of a silver Honda Civic travelling northbound near Rogers Road would fail to negotiate a turn and would cross over into the southbound land, colliding with a purple SUV.

No fatalities were reported but both drivers were hospitalized and treated for serious injuries. The driver of the Honda Civic was issued multiple traffic violations as a result of the accident investigation.
