Seneca Falls Police respond to shooting at Tops, no threat to public
One person was shot, another is in custody after a shooting at the Tops in Waterloo.
Seneca Falls Police say this is an isolated incident and there is no active threat to the community.
A statement from the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations for Tops Friendly Markets Kathy Sautter says,
"Earlier today an incident involving an individual with a firearm took place outside the Tops located in Waterloo, NY. One individual was taken to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound. The suspect is in custody. We are working collaboratively with law enforcement as they conduct their investigation. The store has reopened after being temporarily closed. For further information about the incident, please contact local authorities."
