Binghamton would string three runs in the first two innings to pickup their series opening win over Harrisburg on Monday night at Mirabito Stadium in a 7-3 victory.

The Rumble Ponies would get two runners on base before back to back RBI's by Rowdey Jordan and Kevin Parada would allow Binghamton to jump out to a 2-0 lead after one inning.

Harrisburg would respond in the top half of the second getting one run of their own, but it would be shortly answered by Jeremiah Jackson who would score from third base off an RBI by Alex Ramirez.

Binghamton would expand their lead in the sixth inning putting up three runs highlighted by an RBI single by Wyatt Young and shortly after an RBI triple by Matt Rudick to go up 6-1, and add one more run in the eighth with JT Schwartz driving in Ryan Clifford off of an RBI single.

On the mound for Binghamton for most of the contest Brandon Sproat would pick up his third win on the season, Sproat would go 7.0 innings dealing five strikeouts.

The Ponies improve to 24-20 on the season and will have Tuesday off before resuming their series with the Senators on Wednesday at 11:05 A.M. at Mirabito Stadium.
