The Broome County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man known to frequent Kirkwood and is wanted on an outstanding warrant for probation violation.

According to the office, Matthew Knapp is wanted on a warrant for Violation of Probation for Sex Offender Registration Violation. Knapp is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing 250 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair.

Knapp was last known to frequent the Upper Court Street area of the Town of Kirkwood. Anyone with information on his current location is asked to contact the sheriff's office.
