Game three of the Commissioner's Cup final is SOLD OUT as Black Bears fans hope to see a series-clinching win this Friday.

The Binghamton Black Bears swept games one and two in Carolina last weekend, meaning they need to win just one of games three, four or five to win the franchise's first-ever Commissioner's Cup Final Victory.

In round one of the playoffs, the Bears' lone home playoff game saw 4,328 fans pour into the Arena. In round two, against the Motor City Rockers, Binghamton's reported attendance was listed at 4,288 for game two of the Cup Semis.

"They've been coming out ever since we moved in here," said Black Bears owner Andreas Johannson. "I think we have a certain bond with the fans. I think we're frankly, we're a lot more than a hockey club. I think we're like a giant family. When we win, the fans, the arena workers, the front office, the coaches, the players, we're all winning together. When we lose, we all lose together."

Bears players and coaches both say that winning the Cup at home would make it just a bit more special.

"It would be amazing to do it at home, to do it in front of these fans," said head coach Brant Sherwood. "You can feel the hype, you can feel the energy around town. But just you don't want to get ahead of yourself too much. But it would be a dream come true to get it done at home and have our have our fans get to witness it all."

The only other Cup Final win in Binghamton Hockey history was when the Binghamton Senators won the Calder Cup in 2011. The B-Sens closed out the series on the road, however, meaning the Bears could be the first team in the city's history to win a cup in front of their home crowd.

"It's going to be special," said Bears captain Tyson Kirkby. "It's going to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all of us. And hopefully, we just get the job done."

If the Thunderbirds pull off the win on Friday then game four would be played on Saturday at 7 pm. If game five is necessary, it will be played on Sunday at 6 pm. For tickets, go here.
