A Binghamton man is found guilty on a weapons charge.

According to the Broome County District Attorney, Rondell Wright was found guilty of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd degree. This comes after Wright was found with a loaded .380 handgun in the City of Binghamton during a traffic stop on a vehicle that had stolen license plates in April 2023.

Wright is scheduled to be sentenced in August. He faces up to 15 years in state prison and five years of post-release supervision.
