Two Town of Oxford residents are facing several charges after a search by the Chenango County Sheriff's Office and members of New York State Parole.

According to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, the search was conducted on May 1st. Large quantities of numerous controlled substances, paraphernalia, money, and other items that indicated the sale/distribution of drugs were found in the residence.

During the investigation, it was discovered that several juveniles were in the residence and were in close proximity while the substances were ingested. As a result of this investigation, Johnathon W. Loomis and Brionna J. Anzano were both arrested and charged.

Loomis was charged with the following:

  • 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree
  • 1 count of Criminal Nuisance in the 1st degree
  • 3 counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree
  • 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree
  • 1 count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child
  • 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree

Anzano was charged with the following:

  • 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree
  • 1 count of Criminal Nuisance in the 1st degree
  • 3 counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree
  • 1 count of Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd degree
  • 1 count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child
  • 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree
