The Black Bears are headed to the Commissioner's Cup Final! Austin Thompson scores the overtime game-winner to sweep Motor City and punch the Bears' ticket to the franchise's first-ever Cup Final.

Binghamton sweeps the Rockers 2-0 after winning game one, 4-3 on Friday, and game two, 3-2 in OT on Saturday.

After winning on the road in game one, it looked like the Bears would come out of the gates hot, finding the back of the net twice in the game's first 13 minutes. Josh Fletcher scored a wrister eight minutes into the game off a pass from Gavin Yates to give Bingo a 1-0 lead. Five minutes later, Yates would once again be the distributor, finding Connor Smith who backhanded one into the five-hole to double Binghamton's lead to two goals.

However, things got quiet after that, Declan Conway deflected one in at the end of the first period to give Motor City their first goal of the contest as Binghamton entered into the first intermission up 2-1.

In the second, everybody was cold. Both teams fired off 12 shots, but didn't find the back of the net once as the score remained 2-1 after 40 minutes.

In the third, it looked like that would hold as both teams remained scoreless in the period for the first 19:55 of the period. After pulling their goalie and adding an extra attacker, Motor City's TJ Sneath somehow squeaked one by into the cage to tie it up at two goals apiece and sending the game to extra time.

In overtime, Thompson fired one at the goalie and ricocheted in to give Binghamton their third goal of the game, the first since the first period, the 3-2 win and 2-0 series victory.

Binghamton will either play the Motor City Rockers or Carolina Thunderbirds who are tied 1-1 in the Continental Division after Saturday.
