Off these volunteers go to create a cleaner Binghamton.

"We're cleaning up from like beginning of Oak Street over here, to all the way down to St. Patrick's," said Briahna Raymond, one of the student leads for the cleanup.

Cleanups such as the one at Binghamton High School happened all over Binghamton today. All to carry on the memory of the beloved Harper Stantz.

"Harper was a classmate for my older sister, so I knew all about it. So I was really eager to help with the community," said maria mustafa, Another student lead.

Every year since Harper's tragic death, students like Maria have been inspired to come together and give back while improving their quality of school life at the same time.

"It makes the school look better," Raymond said. "I know sometimes passing by in the morning the school looks kind of dirty. It doesn't look okay, and I like being able to help."

It is a goal and mission that reached every school in the city today and will continue to reach more people.

"I'm very happy that we're able to grow Harper's cleanup, as it's becoming bigger every single year," Mustafa said.

And the bigger it gets, the stronger the memories of Harper become.

"We're keeping her legacy up and high, and there's more events that we do in honor of Harper, and each and every one has a big significance for Harper," Mustafa said.
