Oneonta Woman Pleads Guilty to DWI Charge
An Oneonta woman has pleaded guilty to a DWI charge from last spring.
According to the Delaware County District Attorney, Autumn Transue was stopped in March 2023 and the Colchester Police Department officer performing the stop observed signs of intoxication. Transue admitted to consuming "99 Banana Liquor", and being intoxicated, according to the D.A. She would later perform a breathalyzer test and her blood alcohol content was .12 percent.
The D.A.'s office later determined Transue had an out-of-state conviction for DWI in Nevada.
Transue pleaded guilty to the charge of Driving While Intoxicated - Prior Conviction in Ten Years. She was sentenced to five years of felony probation supervision and to the Adult Treatment Court program. If she fails the program, she will be sentenced to 1.3 to 4 years in state prison.
In addition, Transue also had her license revoked for one year and must install an ignition interlock device on her vehicle.
