Veterans and their families were treated to an early Thanksgiving meal at the annual Clear Path for Veterans luncheon.

Over 300 people stopped by the American Legion Post-1645 to enjoy a meal including the traditional Thanksgiving fixings: turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and some desserts.

Clear path for veterans say it's their biggest event of the year.

"It's a great opportunity for us to give thanks to the veterans and their family members and everybody that has served our country or put that service in," says Jonathan Wanglund, Southern Tier Regional Manager, Clear Path for Veterans

Various organizations, non-profits, and community partner groups were also invited to promote their businesses.

Clear Path for Veterans is based in Chittenango New York, but they always make the trip to Broome County to support the community and give back to the local veterans that served our country.
