The Delaware County District Attorney says a Delhi man has been indicted on charges of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide among others after a fatal crash in Davenport in 2022.

Simon Wysong was indicted on charges of one count of Vehicular Manslaughter in the 2nd degree, two counts of Assault in the 2nd degree, Manslaughter in the 2nd degree, and Aggravated Vehicular Homicide.

Wysong is accused of speeding while under the influence of amphetamine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl on County Highway 10 when he failed to stop at a stop sign and crossed onto State Highway 23.

The ensuing crash resulted in the death of Wysong's passenger and causing serious physical injury to the driver of another vehicle.

If Wysong is convicted of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, the most serious charge, he faces up to 8.3 to 25 years in state prison.
