Fire crews responded to a multi-alarm building fire at 2 Nanticoke Avenue, in front of the Cider Mill in the Village of Endicott on Thursday.

According to Endicott Fire Chief Joseph Griswold, the call came in at approximately 6:44 P.M. for a report of a building fire. Authorities responded within two to three minutes.

Endicott, Vestal, West Corners, Town of Union, and Endwell Fire Departments responded to the scene as well as Town of Union Emergency Square and the Union Volunteer Emergency Squad. 

Chief Griswold said the owners were home at the time, but no injuries were reported. However there was one person who was treated for smoke inhalation.

Griswold says they are unsure what currently started the fire but the house is most likely a complete loss, the investigation is still ongoing.
