AN ENRICHED ENGLISH 10 CLASS WAS TASKED WITH CREATING KID FRIENDLY STORIES WITH DEEPER MEANINGS, ALSO KNOWN AS AN ALLEGORY.
THE STUDENTS LOOKED TO BUILD CONNECTIONS AND INSPIRE CREATIVITY WITHIN THE KIDS WITH THEIR STORYTELLING AND WRITING.
THE THEME OF ONE OF THE STORY'S ENCOURAGED KIDS TO BE CONFIDENT AND NOT TO COMPARE THEMSELVES TO OTHERS.
"THIS IS A REALLY BIG ISSUE IN LIKE HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND THEY'RE IN FIFTH GRADE. SO THEY'RE GOING TO BE COMING INTO MIDDLE SCHOOL NEXT YEAR", SAYS cvhs 10th grader madison hubenthal.
Elementary students also asked high schoolers questions about what to expect as they make the shift to middle school.
