Police say a man sprayed an unknown substance on a female at the Weis Market on Pennsylvania Avenue around 4 p.m. Not long after, police were alerted to an incident in the area of Tompkins Street and Jackson Street, in which a male inappropriately touched a female before leaving the area.

An investigation determined it was the same male in both incidents.
