The 55th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade was held Downtown this afternoon. Community members lined the sides of Main and Court Street to watch the parade. Many were excited as it seemed to be the first time since COVID hit that the parade was back to "normal".

"The parade is back to what it's been in the past!" Exclaimed Adara Alston, the Drum Major of Broome County Celtic Pipes and Drums.

Many public figures were in attendance and reminisced about why they love the parade.

"It's one of the biggest parade's we have in the city, it's been that way for a long time." Said Senator Lea Webb.

The parade kicked off at 1:30 pm and wrapped up around 3.
