The Delaware County Sheriff's Office announces arrests for various incidents in the county.

A Delhi man is charged with DWI after leaving the scene of a crash.

The sheriff's office says deputies responded to the scene of a crash on State Highway 10 in Delhi around 11:15 p.m. Friday, November 18th.

An investigation determined the driver of the vehicle, Henry Kaufmann and he had been intoxicated at the time of the crash.

He was charged with DWI and issued tickets for leaving the scene of a crash, moving from lane unsafely, speed not reasonable, no seatbelt, and open container.

The sheriff's office also says a Walton woman has been charged with Criminal Trespass.

The office say deputies responded to a Dollar General store around 5 p.m. on November 15th for an alleged trespass complaint.

An investigation revealed the individual, Carolyn L. Covell, had been asked by employees to leave the store and refused, remaining in the store unlawfully.

Covell was charged with Criminal Trespass in the 3rd degree.
