CV's Maddie Trisket Signs NLI to Play Softball at Saint Anselm
Another southern-tier athlete signed the line to play at the next level, this time coming out of Chenango Valley.
Maddie Trisket, a three-sport athlete for the Warriors will be playing Division II Softball at Saint Anselm College in Goffstown, New Hampshire. As a shortstop in her junior year, Trisket batted .324 and was a STAC All-Conference selection as a utility. On top of all that, Trisket nailed a walk-off home run in a regional game to send Chenango Valley to the state's final four.
"I feel great, I feel so blessed I'm so glad to have all these friends, all these supporters here," Trisket said. "I love the community, [Saint Anselm]'s a small school, but it's so beautiful. The athletics and education are just so good."
Trisket plans to study Education and would like to one day open her own business, the future Hawk has won Section IV titles in basketball, softball, and soccer.
