The Tioga Tigers continued their reign over Section IV Class D with a 42-14 win over the Delhi Bulldogs to move onto the state tournament.

The Bulldogs kept it close into the half with a 14-6 Tigers lead at the break. Luke Schnabel opened the scoring with a short run before Drew Macumber went 55 yards to the house to take the lead at 7-6. Caden Bellis threw a strike to Karson Sindoni to make it 14-6.

Tioga broke it open in the third with a long 40-yard touchdown run from the QB Bellis. The Tigers scored once more in the third with another Macumber run. In the fourth, Bellis threw his second touchdown to Sindoni while Macumber waltzed in for his third TD. Delhi scored again with less than a minute to go, but the Tioga lead was far too much.

The last time the two played, Tioga won 28-21.

The Tigers will take on Section III's Dolgeville at Cicero-North Syracuse on Friday, November 18th at 5 pm.
