The Union-Endicott Tigers trailed 7-6 at halftime, but a surge in the second half gave U-E a 30-14 win over Vestal for their second Section IV Class A title in as many years.

U-E started the scoring with a long, bruising Qymani Viera-Powell run, but Vestal responded shortly after with a longer pass from Cam Schaffer to Jack Gannon. The third quarter included a pair of Nick Lang touchdowns that extended the Tiger lead to 15. The Golden Bears scored early in the fourth and the two teams gave the ball back-and-forth before Cooper Hughes took a Schaffer pass to the house for Union-Endicott with a pick six that sealed the game for the Tigers.

U-E will take on Section III with West Genesse on Friday, November 18th at Cicero-North Syracuse at 8 p.m.
