Binghamton University's Women's Basketball team capped off the 2021-22 regular season Wednesday Night at The Events Center with a 58-48 win over UMBC. The win was the Bearcats 4th in their last 5 games. Denai Bowman led the way with 18 points,5 rebounds, and 3 steals while Binghamton's lone senior Haylee Moore scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in her final home game.

Hancock Central School District graduate Laycee Drake returned to the area as a member of the Retrievers. She scored 7 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and notched an assist and steal in her first game back in her home area.

With the win the Bearcats finish the season 5-13 in conference play and 9-19 overall locking them into the 6 seed for the America East Tournament. They'll travel to Vermont for the quarterfinals on Saturday.
