Binghamton University Director of Athletics Patrick Elliott will be stepping down from his role on June 30th.  

In a letter from University President Harvey Stenger, he says Elliott is stepping down to spend more time with his sons. Elliott, who took over the athletics department in November of 2011 has worked in college athletics for 35 years. During his tenure with the Bearcats there were 8 conference championship teams, 14 All-Americans and 42 NCAA qualifiers.  

Current Deputy Director of Athletics and senior administrator Dennis Kalina will become the Interim Athletics Director on July 1st and serve for the next 18 months while a national search for Elliott’s successor takes place.
