This week's "Teacher of the Week," is the Windsor Teachers' Association.

Windsor Central School District learned that the American Federation of Teachers has awarded a $22,500 COVID-19 Response Grant to the Windsor Teachers' Association.

The WTA is one of 13 groups nationwide to share in $275,000 in grant money, with the goal to help support hybrid, remote, and in-person learning.

For the 2020-21 academic year, Windsor Central School District will use the grant money to help develop its "Engagement Toolkit for Virtual Learning" to help student's learning from home to stay engaged and keep up with attendance by providing mobile hot spots for students lacking internet access, whether they are learning in a hybrid or fully-virtual instructional environment.
