The United Way of Broome County's Emerging Leader Society held their very first "Sweat It Out Saturday" virtual exercise class today, led by personal trainer and ELS member Cathy Aranda.

Social distancing doesn't mean you can't get out and enjoy the sunshine -- the Zoom call brought ELS members together while staying active from home.

"It was a lot of fun, a good for us to get together, even virtually since we can't really all be together the normal way right now, and yeah get a good work out in, and see each other," said Nick Spencer, co-chair for ELS. "I know I feel great right now, so it was as success and I'm hoping we're going to be able to do this again in the future."

The class had a $10 registration fee, which will be going directly to the COVID-19 Community Response Fund to help those affected by the coronavirus.
