Tomorrow night at 6:30 the on FOX-40, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies will be squaring off with the Akron Rubber Ducks for an opening day match-up unlike any you’ve seen before. The teams will be squaring off via MLB The Show 20 the video game. With life-like graphics, Rumble Ponies Play by play broadcaster Jacob Wilkins on the call, and fireworks at the end of the game,  the presentation will be similar to that of any other game. Rumble Ponies Managing Director John Baynes says with no sports on right now they wanted to give fans something to get excited about.

“It was important to us to let our fans and the people of the Southern Tier know that we will use our resources that we have to provide a little piece of hopefully, happiness and normalcy as we are in this crisis together,” says Bayne.

Baynes says they will continue to do this for the games on their schedule going forward until we have real baseball on the horizon. Remember to tune in tomorrow night here on Fox-40, first pitch is set for 6:30.
