Johnson City, N.Y. -  Johnson City high school football has officially named Johnson City native Todd Place as their head football coach. Head Coach Dave Robinson resigned from the position in November 2018 after the team went 1-7 on the 2018 season.

Place, was born in Johnson City and has been an instrumental figure in athletics and academics. Place is a teaching assistant at JC, as well as modified wrestling and modified baseball's head coach. He also was part of Wildcats football coaching staff last year.
