Vestal, N.Y. - Vestal seniors Luke Barney and Dan Mansfield both signed their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday.

Luke Barney will be golfing at Division II Le Moyne College, while Dan Mansfield will be playing soccer at Division I Binghamton University.

  • Regional & New York State Champion (2017)

The senior will attend Binghamton University in the Fall of 2019.

"I love the campus and everything about it. The coaching staff is awesome and I'm so glad that my family will be able to come and watch my games" said Dan.

Luke Barney

  • A five-year varsity golfer
  • Helped win three Section Championships
  • Helped win three STAC championships

The senior will attend Le Moyne in the Fall of 2019 and will also be joining his brother Nick Barney, who will be s Senior on the golf team when Luke is a freshman.

"When I visited, I loved the people there and the academics and athletics. With my brother being there I was always familiar with it and to finally be recruited by the coach and go up there and visit, it's great" said Luke.
