SUNY Broome Volleyball On Track To Making School History
Dickinson, N.Y. - The SUNY Broome Volleyball team are on their way to the National Tournament in Minnesota after winning the regional championship for the first time since 1984. The last time the program won Nationals? Never.
This year's team consists of just nine players. Nine players that have rallied around each other and formed a very special bond throughout the season.
We have so many unique personalities. It's like a puzzle that all fits together" said Captain, Paige Taylor.
"They work hard every single day. We had goals at the beginning of the year and they've worked hard every single day to achieve those goals" said head coach, Maegan Eddinger.
SUNY Broome enters Nationals as the 9th seed and will take on the 8th seed, Queensborough Community College Thursday, November 8th at 10 AM.
"It's gonna be a tough fight. These girls are just going to have to step up there game like they've been doing all season long." said Meagan.
