Bearcats Softball Seniors Will Be Missed

Last night the Bearcats softball season came to an end in devastating fashion during the America East Tournament. University of Maine's Alyssa Derrick hit a two-run walk off home run to end the game and shut the door on Binghamton and any hopes they had for the rest of the season.
Six seniors journey as a softball player at Binghamton University came to and. Seniors such as Jessica Rutherford, Kate Richard, Jill Bovitt, Stephanie Bielec and Carrie Maniccia. Prior to the tournament head coach Michelle Johnston and sophomore pitcher and designated player Rozlyn Price had nothing but positive things to say about the seniors and their impact on this season.
"Our seniors have meant so much to the program right from day one. They came in and right away made an impact on the program and we appreciate all the work they put in day in and day out." Said head coach Michelle Johnston.
"They really took all the underclassmen under their wing and helped them out so much, they just are so caring and loving and you can just tell they care so much about this game." Said Rozlyn Price.
