The Triple Cities Browns Backers fan group gathered at Close Quarters bar to watch the 2018 NFL draft. They waited patiently to see who the Cleveland Browns would take at number 1 and number 4. The Browns don't have a very good track record  when it comes to finding quarter backs, so the question is are they going to finally find their franchise quarter back and get this pick right?

"I hope so. This is our super bowl and a bad draft can cost you five years and it's been costing us for the last twenty-years. This is our year." Stated browns fan Scott Finley.

When I asked New York Giant's fan Ron Kaye who he thinks will go at number one, he stated "I think quarter back Josh Allen unless the Browns screw it up again which they could." Looking at the big picture it would seem like Heisman trophy winner Baker Mayfield was a good decision but it also seems a little typical for the Browns to take him over defensive end Bradley Chub or the other quarter backs in the draft such as Josh Rosen or Sam Darnold.

"I don't think they made a mistake, absolutely not. I wish they had taken Bradley Chubb first and got their quarter back at number 4 but right now after last year's performance of quarter backs this young man will hopefully get some training I guess maybe, as an understudy for a year and hopefully he has a bright  future for the browns. " Stated Brown's fan Jim View.

The Brown's have not had a winning quarter back since Tim Couch played back in 1999. So, lets hope it's quarter back Baker Mayfield that can break the mold.

The New York Giants chose running back Saquon Barkley for the 2nd pick in the draft.

The New York Jets chose quarter back Sam Darnold for the 3rd pick in the draft.

The Cleveland Browns chose corner back Denzel Ward.

The Buffalo Bills took the Tampa Bay Buccaneer's 7th pick and chose quarter back Josh Allen.
