The Bleeding Disorders Association of the Southern Tier also known as BDAST hosted a bowling event at the Midway lanes in Vestal on Sunday.

Around 100 people came out in support of the event that is benefiting the children with bleeding disorders.

All the proceeds from Sunday's event will help send these children suffering from bleeding disorders to camp.

"The camp they go to is specifically for children with bleeding disorders, so they can go run and play and not have to worry about getting hurt. You have medical staff on hand to help them if they need to," said Barbie Ferrese, Board of BDAST of Southern Tier.

BDAST will be host a Drag Show fundraiser at Magic City in April.
