It's a hard knock life for Annie, but coming to Binghamton made life a little better.

The Tony Award-winning Broadway classic hit the Forum Theater stage during it's U.S. national tour for the first time in years on Sunday.

The audience composed of all ages, packed the theater for the production's sold out 3:00pm performance along with another showing at 7:30pm.

"It's great to expose very young children to Broadway, to theater, and to get them ready to share this in their older life. We hope that we attain and maintain that audience for years to come," said Deb Ricciardi.

Sunday's production of Annie is a brand new physical incarnation of the original. It was directed by the original lyricist and director Martin Charnin for the 19th time.
