A parole check leads to a Methamphetamine bust in the Town of Greene.


On Wednesday afternoon, police officers along with members of New York State Parole conducted a "knock and talk" at 518 Cummings Rd in the Town of Greene.


According the Chenango County Sheriffs Office, police received information of methamphetamine being produced at the residence. During the investigation police discovered over 30 ounces of liquid methamphetamine along with several ingredients and laboratory equipment used to manufacture the drug.


Following the investigation Glenn E. O’Connor, 47, was arrested for Felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Felony Unlawful Manufacturing Methamphetamine, and Felony Possessing the Precursors to Methamphetamine.


At the time of the arrest, O’Connor was on Parole for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. He is now incarcerated at the Chenango County Correctional Facility for a Parole Violation awaiting arraignment for the new charges.


The New York State Police CCSERT Team and Village of Greene Police Department assisted with the investigation.
