Parents, students and some younger kids came out to have some fun with science at Binghamton University.

Today, BU hosted it's 20th annual Engineer's Week at the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering.

It was a great chance for undergrads to show what they know and provide others with hands-on experience. The students showed how they built batteries with lemons and made 3d art.

All attendees participated for free.

"It's a great way for kids to see engineering and the possibilities involved in engineering and what engineers can do," said David Berman, Assistant Dean of Watson School at BU.

Attendees were also able to participate in an egg drop and other events.

engineering week was such a success that BU plans to host is again next year.
