In Pennsylvania, Governor Tom Wolf is showing gratitude for the work of state crews and the Department of Transportation, known as PennDOT.

The state has nearly 40,000 miles of roadway to maintain and this was a difficult task with the massive amounts of snow that fell during the weekend storm. Wolf expressed pride in the work of his state in digging out.

Governor Tom Wolf says, "Everybody worked together to really, to make sure that this snowstorm of historic proportion, we were able to keep Pennsylvanians safe. I think our employees deserve the gratitude of the people of Pennsylvania. And, speaking of the people of Pennsylvania, the people of Pennsylvania responded magnificently to this crisis."

The snow in Pennsylvania hit hardest on Saturday.
