There is now a $3,000 reward leading to an arrest and conviction in the case of a 20-year-old Binghamton University student who was left unconscious and in critical condition after a robbery and assault.

The family of the victim, whose identity is not being revealed, offered a $1,000. That was matched by the Binghamton Police Department, and it has now been matched by an anonymous source.

Police say the incident happened at the Ice House on Charlotte Street in the early-morning hours of November 15th. Police say while the victim was at the bar he was struck in the head and robbed of his personal property.

Anyone with information is asked to call Binghamton Police Detectives at 772-7080.

Deputy Mayor Jared Kraham has confirmed the city will send a lockdown warning letter to the owner of the Ice House.
