Worried about putting on a few pounds after all then mashed potatoes and gravy? you're not alone.

Fitness experts from Gaslamp Gym in Binghamton recommend 30 minute cardio exercises daily to maintain your weight, along with nutritious dietary habits, with sweets in moderation of course.

"The more colorful your plate is the better, the more vegetables, fibrous carbs are a good way to stay lean and fit through the holiday season and again, have a little pie but try to do a small portion." Catherine Aranda, a NASM certified personal trainer recommends.

"Take a walk around your neighbor take a walk and maybe even start power walking and if you really feel like jogging go for it. Just put on maybe some tunes. a lot of people like to workout in silence and I can but intermittently sometimes that music is motivation." said Brian Nayor the owner of Gaslamp gym

Experts also say to drink plenty of water before, during and after exercising as well.
