Toys, toys and more toys, that's what many children look forward to on the holidays.

A.C. Moore is having a chain-wide "make and take" at their store in which families are invited to create a holiday keepsake for free.

A.C. Moore is an official Toys For Tots drop center that will be open all month long for people who wish to give back this holiday. This is the second year they have participated with the program.

"Boxes, drop boxes at different locations in the community, they have to be unwrapped, and the community in this area is very good and very charitable for giving us toys for all age groups."said Kim Blackwell, Toys for Tots Campaign Coordinator.

"Our CEO donated over 30,000 toys for almost over half a million dollars this year, so last year he did very close to the same, just a little over $400,000 last year," said Dan Newton, General Manager for A.C. Moore.

Last year A.C. moore collected more than 80,000 items for toys for tots, this year they hope to get at least 100,000 items to give to children this holiday season.
