SUNY Broome brought Halloween out a week early today for their first annual Oktoberfest.

The sun might have been hiding today, but the people were not. Hundreds came out to the event dressed in costumes and bags ready to be filled with candy.

Students had a chance at a good scare while walking though the haunted house

and the hay maze certainly tested their navigation skills.

"The turn out was great! I was expecting a lot. I mean, it came out as well as it did. I wasn't very sunny but it was good weather for it. it was a little cold," said Kelsey Chervak

It wasn't all about spooks, they had some crew county line dancing to get those feet moving even more. And just in case anyone was hungry, snacks and cider was offered along the way.
