Delayed Sentencing for Libous
The sentencing for former State Senator Tom Libous has been delayed to accommodate Libous' chemotherapy treatment. Libous will now be sentenced on November 24th. Sentencing was originally scheduled for October 30th. Libous will have his chemotherapy treatment on October 28th. Libous was found guilty in July on one count of providing a false statement to an FBI Agent. That is in connection to an investigation of how his son got a job at a politically-connected law firm.
