There's a race going on at Tioga Downs, but it doesn't involve horses.

Saturday the second annual 10 minute long Lupo's World Chicken Spiedie Eating Championship was held at the venue. Twelve challengers took on world champion competitive eater, Joey Chestnut. Chestnut set the world record last year by eating 13 and three quarters of Lupo's Spiedies.

And this year he reclaimed his title with a new record of 14 spiedies.

"It's great to be back here at Tioga Downs. I was able to improve on my record just a little bit, but the food tasted great. I was just kind of slow and got tired, but I'm going to definitely come back next year and improve on my record again," said World Champion Competitive Eater Joey Chestnut.

Chestnut received a cash prize of $4,000 and a Spiedie trophy for his win.
