A business is asking community members to help sew dresses for a cause.


Saturday Grandmother's Thimble in Vestal held their first annual "Dress a Girl Sew-a-Thon" as a project of Hope 4 Women International.


During the event volunteers sewed dresses that will to be donated to the organization. The dresses will go to underprivileged girls around the world.

Volunteers say they plan to donate 100 dresses to the organization.
