U-E's Chandler Jones ready for next season with New England
Union-Endioctt's Chandler Jones was in town this weekend for the Maggie Memorial Golf Tournament at Traditions at the Glen in Johnson City and he was excited to talk to the locals about his Super Bowl ring won last year with the New England Patriots but he forgot it at home and said he would bring it next time he is in town. The 25 year old Defensive End made an impact with the Patriots last year and the former first round pick expects to get better and better and sees New England getting back to the big game in 2016.
"My drive to keep myself hungry is just the feelings that I had throughout this whole process of winning. All the moments that I had from the parade, the ring ceremony, the trip to the White House. Things like that are once in a lifetime opportunities but I feel like experiencing them really drives you to do it again and again and do it more," said Jones.
Chandler has 23 and a half career sacks and earned three tackles in last year's Super Bowl victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
