A lawsuit between the owners of the Binghamton Mets and a group looking to buy the team with the intention of moving it to Wilmington, Delaware has been settled, however; no details have been announced.

Main Street Baseball had sued the Binghamton Mets ownership group after negotiations began to sell the team to Main Street. B-Mets president Mike Urda ceased negotiations when the no shopping period outlined in the letter of intent expired, but David Heller, Main Street Baseball CEO, says that in doing so, Urda reneged on a deal already in place. Urda has denied this and said that the letter of intent was to negotiate a sale, not provide for the sale.

B-Mets president has said that there is another interested buyer who appears to be committed to keeping the team in Binghamton. Today, the Bmets called the settlement a private matter and the team is not releasing any details.
